We will need copies of the following items, as they apply to you, when you complete your loan application for a home purchase:
~ 2007 & 2008 Tax returns, including all schedules, W-2’s and/or 1099’s. If you have 25% or more ownership in a business, business returns for the most recent 2 years are required.
~ Check stubs for the most recent 30 day pay period – if you receive social security or disability income, then we need a current awards letter; for retirement income a verification of income and proof that the income will continue for 3 more yrs is needed.
~2 months recent bank statements (checking/savings) – all pages (Computer generated print-outs are acceptable if your name and/or SSN and account # are on the print-out. An activity statement from your bank is acceptable if the bank signs & stamps the print-out)
~ Most recent statement for assets (Mutual Funds, 401(k), IRA, etc.) – all pages
~ Name & phone number for the agent handling your new homeowner’s insurance
~ Purchase Contract for new property (fully executed & all pages)
~ If you are selling a home, we need a copy of the fully executed Sales Contract
~ Divorce / Separation – copy of executed document(s) to verify obligations and support
~ If you have filed for bankruptcy in the past 2 years, we may need a copy of your bankruptcy documents, all pages filed, and the discharge letter.
~ For VA financing, we will need a copy of the DD-214 and/or Eligibility Certificate
~ If you are a resident alien, you will need to bring your green card.
~ If you currently rent, we may need your landlord’s name & telephone number to verify timely rent payments.
~ Copy of driver’s license(s) and Social Security card(s)
~ Appraisal fee: Will be collected prior to ordering appraisal - fee based on type of loan and property. Some appraisals can be paid by credit card.
